Fall time!

Fall is almost here and I know that means that the temperature will be cooling down. I'm really excited because this means I'll be able o go on a lot more adventures without feeling like I am melting from the heat! I'm also excited because soon it will be cool enough to make hotpots (nabe, in Japanese)! This is one of my favorite foods to eat in the winter here, mainly because it is so easy to prepare, and so delicious to eat. What is your favorite food to eat in the fall?

The Funny and Cute Things That Happen

A few weekends ago, my friend, Taylor, and I went to go eat at a local place. We had eaten there once before and I fell madly in love with their Ramen! We decided to go back to get something delicious to eat and to relax a bit.

While there we order french fries as a snack to go with our meal. When they brought out our food, the plate of fries had the word "Arigatou ハート" written on the plate (as seen above). We both thought it was so cute so we decided to take a picture of it. This reminded me of all the cute and funny things that have happened during my time in Japan that I wouldn't have the opportunity to experience if I had stayed in America. That is just one of the many cultural differences of our nations. I will be going back to that little place in the future, not only for the food, but for the friendly staff!

What are some other cultural differences that you have noticed between Japan and other countries? I'm curious to hear about them and your adventures!

Thank you for reading!

Understanding the fundamentals

I've been pondering many puzzling issues of the reality of life and that is what is the fundamentals of everything? I course would fair pretty well in the realm of metaphysics and metaphysical grounding (maybe not?), but I've been often beaten with this question on a daily basis of what grounds everything?

But I then asked myself, to what extent is this useful to even ponder about?

Have you ever asked metaphysical questions like this?
