Thank you all
This is my last week at GEM School. I would like to say thank you to all of the GEM School students and my coworker. I was a teacher at GEM for 5 years and it was truly a unique experience. I am proud to have been a part of so many people's lives during that time. We had lots of fun during the events and classes together. Although I am moving on to a new career, I am happy that I will be able to remain on Shikoku. I am sure that I will see many of you again in my everyday life. Thank you all for the great experiences.

Festival season is the best
I love the drum festivals in Japan. Many areas have their won drum festival, but I think Niihama and Saijo have the best festivals. I love seeing the beautiful uniforms the teams wear along with each neighborhoods taikodai/danjiri. I also enjoy the energy the city has during this time. Niihama and Saijo are usually very quiet, but during festival season, they are loud and lively places. Have you been to any of the drum festivals?

Everyone is using the same 24 hours in each day, we all have the same amount of time, however, what is different in how we prioritize activities, people, and work. Often times when someone says "I don't have time" what they are really saying is that the activity, person, or job is not an important priority for them at the time.
