One of the hardest things to find in Japan are Spanish restaurants. At least for me I think there are quite few, especially in Kagawa. But there is an abundance of Kaldi shops. Kaldi is a great place to find imported foods and ingredients. If you’ve never been there, look it up!   

One of the great things about Japan is the amount of candy flavors there are. Every month there seems to be brand new flavors for each type of candy. My most recent favorite is the yogurt apollos. They are one of my top 10 favorite candies now! Try it out!
  

Starbuck has its new monthly drink again this month and it tastes great. Its called Chocolate Maron and I highly recommend it. Its sweet and has a nutty flavor and is quite smooth. I think its in one of my top 5 Starbucks drinks. Try it out!  

It’s typhoon season right now in Japan so we’re going to be seeing a lot more rain than usual. Luckily since I used to live in Florida, I’m used to the prep work. In Florida we would have hurricane season and it was really similar to typhoon season in Japan.

Recently, I've been wanting to eat Mexican food but in Japan Mexican restaurants are not common. My solution? Going to Kaldi! They have a wide variety of imported products and most of the ingredients I need.

Recently, its become harder to find Kit Kat flavors since I haven't traveled much. However with the power of the internet, I was able to buy all the flavors I missed! It was around 5 flavors. Its so hot nowadays so they came melted though....  

Obon holiday just passed and I was able to relax for a few days without having to worry about anything. Unfortunately due to the world situation, I wasn't able to go anywhere but a few days of relaxation didn't hurt anyone.
What did you do during Obon?  

Recently, I made the switch from Android to iPhone. It will take some time to get used to since I have to get used to the different shortcuts and interface. I am liking the Apple ecosystem a lot though. Which one do you like better? Android or iPhone?  

Lately, I've been playing a lot of Mario games since I want to use my switch more. I'm surprised by how easy the games are but at the same time they can prove quite difficult at times. The main story is pretty easy but there are certain side areas in the game that are pretty hard to beat. I have been having a lot of fun though.

Do you like Mario games?  

I had my first haircut in Japan recently and I had a good experience. The haircut was quick and easy. At they end they vacuum your head which is something I've never seen before. It was quite convienient. If you need a haircut, go get one soon!  

Recently a brand new Paper Mario game came out for the Nintendo Switch. I got it and it's really fun! I played a lot of the older games when I was younger and had a great time. There's a new fighting system which I think is just ok but the game itself is pretty good. If you have a Nintendo Switch I recommend picking it up.  

One of my favorite game consoles growing up was the Nintendo Gamecube. The Gamecube had a unique design and plenty of fun games. One which is still popular today was Super Smash Bros Melee. I had a ton of fun playing my Gamecube. What game consoles do you own?  

The post office workers in Japan are extremely helpful! Every time I go to the post office or when I get a package delivered to me, I am met with great service. In America it usually depends on whose working to see what kind of service you will get. My packages in Japan always come undamaged and quick!  

Recycle shops in Japan are quite nice compared to the ones in the US. Here in Japan they clean and nicely wrap most items at recycle shops and they are much easier to find. In the US they are few and far between and the quality of the products are usually dirty. Shopping for used things is Japan is pretty awesome!  

It seems like streaming services are a bit lesd common in Japan then they are in the US. In the US there are a ton of streaming services where you can watch your favorite TV shows on demand. I know Japan has a few but if you haven't heard of them you should look it up!  

The rainy season here and you know what that means... bad laundry days! Its very tough to get laundry done during these rainy days since its always raining on my laundry! Guess it's time to rely on the coin laundry.  

If you didn't know Starbucks has lots of seasonal drinks in Japan. The latest one has to be the best one yet. Its a strawberry drink which is sweet and tasty. I highly recommend you go try out the drink soon!  

Lately, I've been liking the Caramel flavor of Haagen Daaz's ice cream. It's a little expensive but it tastes so good! I started eating other caramel flavored foods because of it. If you haven't tried it, you should!  

Lately, I've had a lot of free time. The only problem is that its hard to stay productive during this free time. I usually end up watching youtube videos. So, I am trying discipline myself more and be more productive!  

One good Nintendo Switch game that's good exercise at home is Ringfit Adventure. You get a ring and a legstrap that you attach your joycons to. You then run in place and do exercises to fight monster. I highly recommend it!
