I went to Korea for Golden Week and my first stop was at a restaurant for some fried chicken! It was so delicious and so crispy!
  

The cherry blossoms have finally bloomed and I went to my favorite place: Bujo Park. It was really cold, but still fun!
  

For the last two years, some friends of mine have participated in a womens mikoshi festival. It is in Matsuyama and it was really fun!
  

Cheese fondue is one of those things that I never have had very often, but it is so delicious! I had a fondue night with some friends and it was so fun!
  

I recently was really craving some pretzels and so I decided to make some. They turned out delicious and I was so happy!
  

I recently went to one of my favorite restaurants and had my favorite pizza. I took this funny picture because I love it so much!
  

On my trip to Osaka I really wanted to try Kushi Katsu because I had failed to eat it on previous trips. I was blown away by how good the food is! Next time I go to Osaka, it will surely be my first stop!
  

A really cool place to stop in Osaka is in America Mura because it has lots of old and new pinball machines! It is really fun to go and see all the different machines!
  

One of the most delicious sandwiches on earth is the bahn mi. It is a sandwich from Vietnam with cilantro, pork and vegetables and it is so incredibly good. On a recent trip to Osaka I had to stop and get one!
  

I made an amazing dinner of Italian meatballs, homemade focaccia, and salad that was unbelivably good! I will definitely have to make this one again soon!
  

Part of living in Japan is missing food. My sister recently visited one of my favorite restaurants and sent me this to gloat. All I could think about the rest of the day was the delicious food from the restaurant.
  

I finished the 1000 piece puzzle and it looks so cool! I really like the artwork of it and it was not too challenging to do! I think I will try another puzzle soon!
  

I recently got a craving for everything bagels so I decided to try and make them! They turned out so great and I ate them really quickly! I think I will have to make them again soon.
  

The extremely cold weather has seen me forced to sit under my kotatsu for a lot of my free time and I thought it would be a good idea to start doing a puzzle! It is 1000 pieces and this one is extremely hard, but I am enjoying it.
  

Eating cake for Christmas is not normal in the western world, so it was very fun to order one this year and eat it on Christmas! It was so delicious and it made a lovely Christmas!
  

I did something special and new for Christmas this year by making a gingerbread house! It was so fun and it turned out so cute!
  

I really enjoy cooking and recently I tried making something I had never made before - french toast! It turned out so good!
  

I went and saw the winter illumination at Mannou Park last month and it was so lovely! I am so glad I got a chance to go and see how amazing it was!
  

We are well into the winter but I would be remiss if I did not mention the importance of hot drinks. Winters can get cold here but the hot drinks at the conbini are so great for helping you warm up on a cold day.
  

My mom unfortunately was not able to stay forever so one of the last things we did was explore Osaka before she left. It was really sad when she left but it was a really great trip and I cannot wait until I see her again!
