Riding the Rails
I travel quite a bit to different GEM School locations, but until recently I mostly drove. However, some recent schedule changes gave me the opportunity to travel much more by train, and it turns out I prefer traveling by train to traveling by car.
Why? Because on a train I read a book, take a nap, or get up and walk around. I can't do any of those things while I am driving a car.
We don't have many passenger trains in the western United States. Everything is so spread out that everyone needs to have a car, anyway, just to go to the grocery store and to work, so it's never been cost effective to build a good passenger train or subway network - even places that have public transportation tend to rely more on buses than trains.

I recommend you to go aboard the train for
your transportation. Japanease trains are
almost on time.
besides, trains in Shikoku areas are not crowded,so you can have conversations with a train conductor for your Japanease
lessen.
Take care! Yamamoto 山本 政司
