This weekend I went to Yumetown and bought my first kimono! I was very excited to try it on because until now I have only worn yukata, so I wanted to try wearing kimono too. I love going to the shop in Yumetown because the staff are so kind, they always give me great service without worrying about the language barrier, which is really nice. They even noticed that my Japanese is improving and complimented me for studying. I really appreciate their skilled customer service when I visit.
I picked out a nice pink kimono and light green obi. I really want to learn more about kimono, especially things like seasonal motifs and colors, but for now I just picked what I liked.




Here is my first time putting it on alone! I need to practice, but I don't think it's too bad! I'm very excited to wear it, I hope I get lots of chances.
