Many Different Versions
As I mentioned last week, the board game Candyland has many different versions. The gameplay is more or less the same for each version, but the board looks different.
The game was first made in the late 1940s, and it seems like ever since it was made, the publishers come out with a new board design every couple of years.
It's fun to do a Google search and look at all the game board designs. Some designs are very similar, and you have to play a game of "find the differences" to figure out what was changed. But some designs are very different! There are also designs that feature popular cartoon characters.
Here is one of the earliest designs and one of the more recent designs:

Dishes
I hate doing the dishes! It is my most hated chore. Sometimes I think about recycling my plates and only having one in the cupboard. I'm bothered by the dripping of water too. I usually put off doing the dishes but recently a plumber had to come by. I never did them so fast in my life! The sink was empty for one day!

For the Love of Rubber Straps...
If you've been following along on my gachapon series, you'll know that I am no fan of "rubber straps," the thin slabs of rubber with characters printed on them, hanging from a cheap ball chain that will disappoint you when it falls off your bag. That said...there are certain times I will hand over my hard-earned yen for one. The time is nigh.
The Sanrio collaborations get me every time. As a Cardcaptor Sakura and Sanrio fan, this collab would be hard to miss for me.
I especially love this one-- it's my two favorite characters from each respective series on one piece of rubber. Is this dopamine?

New Driver Alert!
I recently passed my driving test and became an officially licensed driver in Japan. It's a surreal experience as I never thought I would obtain a drivers license in another country but here I am lol. I had the pleasure to be assisted by an awesome interpreter (Masahiko) provided by the MIC in Matsuyama. Furthermore, I made a friend with a follower foreigner from Sri Lanka who also had to take the driving test. The cherry on top was that we had celebratory burgers at an amazing burger spot called Kobe Garage in downtown Matsuyama.
