ネイティブが教える英会話のジェムスクール☆Teachers☆

Last year my mom, sister and niece went on a frenzy to study Spanish. Being that I studied said language in highschool and uni I wasn't trying to jump on that train. I wanted to study perhaps Hangeul. At first it was fun and exciting, learning how Hangeul with their own adorable brand of Kanji with the circles and symbols was a real thrill. However life, as it often does, got in the way with work schedules, commitments and the "you can't miss this" deadlines put my my language love affair to a screeching halt.

It was the end - or so I thought.

I quickly turned the tides around and while regaining my footing when one day I saw Ingorious B-ds was on Netflix. I always absolutely loved this movie and was always tickled by the intonations and inflections German provided.
I rapidly found my love again but it was for a language I had no experience with, I had never been to Germany before, all my German friends that I knew were the ones I met in Japan previously - I had no reason to study it. This is why it was perfect! I had/still having a sense of learning and like a good book I can't put it down. I study any and every where, and if I miss a lesson I scramble frantically to rectify it. I found a new hobby that I didn't know I needed. With the knowledge I have now I can introduce myself, say where I'm from and order a small meal in a restaurant. Also the grammar structure is quite similar to English and recently I'm discovering it's eerily similar to French too (which all Canadians are forced to study from elementary to 9th grade btw.)

So the long of the short is, it's something that enriches my life pretty much every day...
