Word of the Day: "Shambolic"

So this word very successfully describes the world we are in today. It basically means very disorganized; messy or confused; completely disorganized; chaotic.
Oftentimes in English we look for stronger words to describe a sentiment or feeling. This word does just that. Its origin is an alteration of shambles (in the sense “a disordered place”) probably on the model of symbolic. It seems like a mash-up of two words to create a new one, apparently is is a rather new word formed in the 1960s.
An example sentence could be:
I’ve had a shambolic year, the worst ever.
And so far in 2020, it:s pretty darn shambolic. Let's all hope for a turnaround, shall we? The year isn't finished yet!
