I miss cactuses
It's something I thought would never come to my mind, but it's true. The bonsai here are so beautiful, but the look of those prickly sharp green trees are something that remind me of home.
I said in my first post that I lived in a pretty dry place. There are parts of California that snow, but in the the center and south it is dry enough for the mighty cactus to thrive!
My love for bonsai is growing as I live here. Kokubunji is so beautiful for all of them. It's even on the manhole covers :O

I can love both, though! I don't think I'll ever trade one for the other ;V
