Super Festive
Ever since I got married this May, I have been feeling, well, SUPER festive. Usually it was Gary being the more celebratory person in the relationship but now I feel the holiday spirit to the maximum! Plus it's kind of hard not to feel super festive in Japan. I walk around my apartment complex and every so often I see little decorations outside a house. Even downtown Kanonji is lit up at night with a calming display of lights. Also, the stores I go to are selling gorgeous (and inexpensive) Christmas decorations. I think I wanted to buy almost every seasonal knickknack I saw at Daiso! Even my workplace (GEM) looks like something out of a holiday movie with all the thoughtful Christmas images! Honestly, I feel I'd be missing out if I decide to not to partake in all the joy! Now I find myself zealously baking holiday themed cookies and eagerly looking for decorations to put around the house. Safe to say, this year I'm more than ready to level up to super festive!

New Study Material
As a Christmas present for myself, I ordered new books to study. And so, to prepare for the next JLPT, I'll be diligently studying away over the break. They seem like good books, plus they have a listening CD. It will be nice to listen while driving.
I hope this is finally the method that helps me learn. There have been so many styles of learning that I've tried in the past, but for languages they never seem to stick.
