Oh Christmas Tree!
My sister and I used to send each other a song from a horrible tv Christmas special called "the perfect tree." We would open the file, not knowing what it was, and burst out laughing. It was our special joke. We also had a christmas cd that the gas station gave away during December. It has a pretty weird rendition of "Oh Christmas Tree" on it. We also would play that CD in the car as a joke.
Last weekend, I put up my Christmas tree. When Rose and Alex were moving, I had the forethought to ask for their nicely sized Christmas tree. My tree in America was taller than my father, and my tree last year was a 90cmm from Daiso. Now, I look at my tree adorned with purple halloween lights (from my mother) and gacha key-chains and hand painted plastic ornaments, and I'm very very happy.
You may have noticed though, that there is nothing on the top. I can't decide what to top the tree with. What should I do? Make an origami star? Buy something? Use my Mothra toy again??
