The Perfect Tree Topper for Me!
So I stared at my Christmas tree, pondering what I should put on top. Many people suggested I make a bat, which is associated with me SO well that I felt it was too easy. However...
A few months ago, several of us went to the kaleidoscope museum. There, there was a set up of different shaped blocks that could be rearranged into cool shapes, like a snowflake. I love snowflakes, I sometimes wear too many snowflake accessories because I'm trying to feel festive.
It took apart two plastic snowflakes and played around with the shapes. I glued the pieces together with a good craft glue (E6000) and...TA-DA! A snowflake bat!
I couldn't see it against my tree so I used superglue, glitter, and white paint. I got a lot of glue and glitter stuck to my fingers in the process.
It's perfect for my tree!
