Kaleidofun!

Kaleidofun!
Last week my students and I decided to attempt to make Kaleidoscopes in class. This was an interesting and enjoyable task. Well, we succeeded! We then decided to look at different things through the Kaleidoscopes core rather than simply looking at beads or stones at the base of it. My students enjoyed experimenting with what shapes they could create with the Kaleidoscope which allowed them to ask questions about English that they hadn't thought of before. It's amazing how such simple things can make a difference in the mental processing of a child. It was rather enjoyable. Later we decided to try our hand at taking photos through the tube and see how those came out, and I must say, they were interesting. Pictured here is one such image that was taken. What are some fun projects that spark your interest in learning about new things?

Thank you for reading!
