Spring Springing Forward

The past few years in weather has been, well, interesting to say the least. We have gone from one extreme to the other here in Shikoku, which means that we have seen record breaking heat and, in Kagawa, a lot of snow. From what I have learned from the natives of Kagawa these weather patterns occur every 10 to 20 years apart. I am excited to be living here in the midst of it all in truth. This winter was very mild and seems to have come to an end early. This week we will see higher temperatures than we have the last few years around this time. This weather pattern is normal to me, however, because my home state of Texas is as bipolar as the weather here has been. I am excited to see the first blossoms on the trees and the buds for the leaves. It is going to be a beautiful year, but with that beauty also comes allergies, which I'm not so excited about. I hope you all enjoy the warm weather to come and enjoy the beauty of nature around you!
Thanks for reading!
Leigh
