Winter
It's been so cold in so many places lately. Here in Shikoku, more than usual, I think, but with record cold in Buffalo, my home town, with the Great Lakes freezing over. So, some say there's no global warming, if everywhere it's getting colder. But globally parts of Australia are becoming so hot that humans can't survive there. And even in India and Africa, the summers have been very intense. I think the term global warming refers to global average temperatures, and the fact that the ice caps are melting at an alarming rate, the oceans are getting warmer and acidic. On the local level that means climate disruption, as wind streams are modified, ocean currents change, and where it all ends is not clear in detail, but it won't be good. Can something be done? It could, but the time is short. Too many people are interested in just ignoring it, make money out of looking away. Don't look away, We can only change it if everyone becomes aware.
