I have officially been in Japan for almost 2 months and I am loving it so far. However, sometimes I do miss things about home. Mostly, I miss my family. Obviously I miss my parents, and my brother for example, but I also miss another part of our family; our dog! In America, there are two distinct types of people; dog people and cat people. While I am not opposed to cats, I would definitely say I'm a proud "dog person." Our dog at home is named Pepper and he is a long haired Dachshund. He is absolutely adorable, but also very bossy! If you have been to Gem School in Marugame, you may know Coco has a Dachshund at home also! They are such funny little happy dogs. It makes me happy to see people out walking their dogs here because it reminds me a little bit of home. A dog really is just a furry best friend. How about you? Do you have a pet?
