In America it is very common for your friends families to sort of adopt you. What that means is that you end up having multiple mothers, fathers, brothers, and sisters. In Japan I was very fortunate to be "adopted" in to this family. I now have a Japanese mother and sister. This picture is of me with my Japanese sister on my shoulders.
