Umihiko's Playground
Whenever I go to Ohki Beach I always stop by my favorite little restaurant and surf shop. Umihiko’s Playground is a cozy restaurant and beach atmosphere run by a lovely married couple. The food is delicious and the service is friendly. You can rent a surf board and even get a surf lesson if you call ahead of time! This is the place in Japan where I started surfing. Umihiko is a fantastic surf instructor!
