Lotus Temple, Ubud
This building was my favorite in Ubud. The royal family commissioned this temple and water garden, dedicated to the Hindu goddess of art and learning, at the end of the 19th century. The main shrine is covered in detailed carvings, and interesting giant barong masks. We also ate the traditional dish of suckling pig and tried our luck bargaining in the marketplace.
