Matsuyama
I recently visited Matsuyama City in Ehime Prefecture. It is a wonderful city with an aura of both old and new. The city has a streetcar system that runs around the whole city. It also has a wonderful castle on the top of a hill overlooking a pleasant and large city park. There is also a famous onsen or hot spring called Dogo. Some believe it is the oldest commercial hot spring in Japan.
Matsuyama has many shopping areas and places to eat also. It is a wonderful city definitely worth the time to visit!
