The main holiday in March is St. Patrick's Day, which is when people believe in leprechauns. This time of year always reminds me of Lucky Charms cereal. It's a very popular cereal which many children like to eat for breakfast. Its mascot is a leprechaun, and he has lots of "lucky charms" which are mostly things traditionally viewed as lucky or things associated with leprechauns. The marshmallows in the cereal are shaped and colored to look like his lucky charms.



Sadly the cereal is incredibly unhealthy, with tons of sugar and artificial food color. But sometimes I let my children eat some for a special dessert. Have you ever tried this cereal?
