Further on Steve Reich, one of his important
compositions was "Come Out," featuring the
voice of Daniel Hamm (pictured). Hamm was
wrongly accused of violent acts toward the police,
in 1966, when in fact it was the other way around.

learn more. The composition features a loop and
phase shifting of the phrase "Come out to show
them" as spoken by Hamm.
