New spot in Takamatsu making burritos behind the Kawaramachi station, in the local line. It's called fuuri which is a funny way to read 風狸. I didn't recognize the tanuki kanji until recently. It may be called "raccoon dog" by some people, but the word tanuki is getting more traction in the last 15 years (similar to words like onigiri and sushi, Americans and world are learning those words).

I'm happy and grateful to have house-made salsa, sour cream, and avocado mix. Kudos! The chicken meat was tender, and the tortilla was crispy which is the style I enjoy the most. Cheese was added to the outside of the burrito. Unexpected, but I thought it was really delicious.
I do have to say the rice was less than it could be. Short grain Japanese rice can not compare to rice in southern and European continents. I'm not asking the impossible. What I'm saying is that the flavors in the rice could be changed in only a few ways and you would have more harmonious combination of flavors. Lastly, the lettuce was just not a good mix. Single, large salad chunks in the tortilla were not working well with everything else going on here.

Final note. Using the tin foil to wrap may seem like a small irrelevant detail, but it really changed the texture as it sits and cools from the grill. That foil lets the steam soften everything else and keeps it all moist. Nostalgic and very pro move.

Decor is really silly. There's something else going on in the store front. I think it's a clothing/collectors/art shop as well. That's out of my wheelhouse.
