A Holy Week
The week of March 27-April 4 is special to many in America. It is considered a Holy Week by various faiths. March 27th kicks off Passover, March 28th is Palm Sunday and Sunday April 4th is Easter Sunday--also referred to as Resurrection Sunday. Easter in America is not just about the Easter Bunny, candy and eggs. It is a sacred week that observes historical events deemed the cornerstone of beliefs and faiths. Easter Sunday involves attending religious services and usually a family brunch or dinner afterwards. It is a time of reflection, thankfulness, unity, and atonement. I will miss participating this year, again, but I plan to enjoy online services. Happy Easter!
