While not as overwhelming as 'matcha' days, the 'strawberry' days are apparently here. I've noticed a significant influx of strawberry based treats at the grocery store.

This isn't much of a problem for me, as berries are my favorite kind of fruit. I do wonder why they became so popular in Japan, but other berries didn't make the cut. The cultivation and harvesting process for cranberries is actually pretty cool. It's basically the same process used for growing rice, but in reverse.
