A Riot of Rainbows
This week's puzzle:

The soul would have no rainbow
Had the eyes no tears.
-John Vance Cheney, American poet (1848-1922)
I chased these rainbows in the United States and in Japan, but which is which? Look very carefully at the photos to spot the clues. Don't give up! The clues are waiting for you like coins in a pot of gold.
Answer to last week's puzzle:

The dog on the left is named "Pierogi" (a type of Polish dumpling). He lives near Chicago, but he travels all over the United States with his owners. The talavera tiles on the steps behind Pierogi are a sure clue that he was in the American Southwest when this photo was taken. The tiles are a common sight in Arizona and other states in the region thanks to their strong Native American, Mexican and Spanish heritage. The dog on the right is named "Momotaro". I first spotted him outside a grocery store near the GEM school on Rainbow Road, but this photo was taken in a park down the street from there. He's another dog who seems to be always on the go.
