My family and I went to Kyoto and while we were there, we visited Kyoto Tower, near the train station. It was really cool! From the top, you can see almost the whole city, and there are binoculars and city maps. There's also a little shrine in the observation area too; they said it was the highest shrine in the city! It waz really fun to see the city all lit up at night from so high up. I would definitely recommend Kyoto Tower to anyone visiting that area!
