So close to Halloween
The urge to eat candy is getting higher and higher. My favorite candy from back home was Reses. Peanut butter is something I've slowly gotten used to having less often.
Halloween can be hard to explain to my students. Even my adult students are not quite sure what is about. It has it's origin Scotland, but American Halloween is pretty far from that.
Traditional Jack-o-Lanturns were actually made from Turnips in hundreds of years ago!
American kids it's more about getting Candy ;V
This week the Shikoku Shinbun is having a special Halloween episode for the Gem School English section. Please read it and have a great Halloween :D
