Animal Fun in Kyoto

Kyoto has been a whirlwind of fun times with animal themes! First we went to Nara and fed the wild deer that reside there. I'd been to Nara before, but it was really fun to show my mother and my friend, Kendall. Kendall is a huge lover of animals, so she was so excited to do something like that. This time, I was brave enough to touch the deer. We already saw sakura in Maruyama, and there were still many trees in bloom in Nara.

At the Fushimi-Inari shrine, dedicated to fox guardians, we didn't see any real foxes. But we did see hundreds and hundreds of fox statues and a lot of cute fox merchandise. I may have spent too much money there. We walked thousands of steps up the mountain to the top, and took a cool picture there. It was a long climb so I'm really glad I could do it!
