Halloween traditions of my childhood
Hello!
Today, I want to talk a little about some of my earliest memories of Halloween, growing up in a very small town in Canada. I think I've talked about my home town of Flin Flon on this blog before, but if I haven't, it's enough to say it's very small in population, and it gets very cold in the winter time. I remember some of my costumes during Halloween including a Caveman (along with a club I made myself), a rabbit ( I think I was a rabbit two times, but it's so long ago, I can't be sure), and a Grim Reaper, with a plastic scythe bought from a store. A lot of the times, however, costumes were difficult to find because it was so cold, so my mother would have to adjust the costume to fit around all of my winter clothes! If you can imagine a rabbit with a parka, snow-pants, and big boots, then you have an idea of what I looked like on Halloween!
Have a great week!
