I'm very sore this morning, but I'm also really happy. Yesterday I joined a matsuri team in Tezui for the matsuri there, and it was great. I pulled and pushed the Taikodai around all day, had lots of fun conversations with Japanese people, and ate and drank lots of delicious things.

Here's a video of the final lift of the night, when I rested instead of carrying. Being tall and carrying a matsuri float is tough!
