One of my favorite parts of my visit home was spending time on the beach! My grandmother lives very close to the beach and so I spent a lot of time there as a child. It makes me feel really peaceful! I always feel really relieved when I return to the beach, and I feel like I recharge when I'm there. I was especially happy when I went this time because we got to see an iceberg! It was very small, a piece of a much larger one further out in the ocean but it was so close! I think I sat for about an hour and listened to the sound of it floating in the water. It was very special.



I had a front row seat!
