Visiting a nearby town for a late Tanabata
Komatsu is just a short drive away from Saijo, so I took a few friends out this afternoon to see their matsuri.
The only problem was that we didn't realize that the matsuri starts much later in the evening! haha
We hung out for a few minutes and walked around the neighborhood enjoying the decorations. No street food unfortunately,but we stopped in at the local Marubun restaurant for some pasta.
When you make the best of a bad situation, the English phrase to use is "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade." We made some lemonade today.
