American Sushi Rolls

A party platter of expensive sushi rolls
I love sushi! But lately I've been missing American sushi. American sushi has gone past the simple California roll and has added many ingredients to it's rolls, transforming them into something crazy but delicious.
My favorite sushi restaurant moved into my hometown about 6 years ago. They were the first sushi place that I found that served fried sushi rolls. My favorites are called the Crazy Girl Roll and the Crazy Boy Roll. The Crazy Boy has crab, avocado, and cucumber inside of a fried roll. The Crazy Girl has spicy tuna and cream cheese inside of a fried roll.
Now, I know some of you might be thinking "cream cheese!?" Yes. I think it's weird too. But inside this roll, it works. I tried an eel and cream cheese roll somewhere else before, but that was terrible!
Many sushi restaurants in America serve a dragon roll, which is a roll with eel, cucumber, rice, and sometimes tempura sushi and avocado! If I don't know what to order, I usually get that because I love to eat eel. A lot of places name their sushi creations. See the ones on my sushizen menu? There's a Livingston Roll (that's the county), a Brighton Roll (the city) and a Michigan roll (my state).

Hardly any of the American sushi rolls have mayo in them. In Japan, I keep finding mayo in my sushi when I buy it at the market, and I hate it!
