Last weekend a bunch of us went to the Zenigata festival here in Kanonji! Rose, Katie, and I spent all day in our yukata (we didn't realize we should have put them on in the evening.) and we watched a lot of yosakoi performances. We made a real effort to go and watch Popo's dance, and it was wonderful! We finally made it to the beach and bought some food at the stalls before going to find a good spot on the beach to watch the fireworks. They were so beautiful! The fireworks i have seen in Canada were great, but were nothing compared to the fireworks here in Japan! I am so excited to see more!
