My Home in Canada
I've been feeling a little home sick lately, so I thought I'd write a little bit about my home in Canada!
I was born and lived almost all of my life in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador. They're one province, but Newfoundland in a separate island from Labrador, which is attached to the rest of Canada. I'm from Newfoundland, and I'm very proud of my heritage!
Most people in Newfoundland have English, Scottish, and Irish ancestors, we also have an indigenous population, but unfortunately it's shrinking. My family has roots in Ireland, Scotland, and Scandinavia. No wonder I'm so blonde!
The thing I love most about my home is how beautiful it can be, there are many beautiful forests so seeing amazing nature is very easy, I took these pictures not far from my "home town". Most of my family lives in a place called Burgoyne's Cove, it's an extremely tiny community about 2.5 hours away from St. John's.

I took these pictures on a hike in Nut Cove, it's very close to my home town. When you follow the path for an hour it leads you to an amazing post-war plane crash site, the wreckage is still there. It's beautiful in a very sad way. My great-grandfather actually helped in the attempted rescue mission after the plane crashed, he told an amazing story about it so it's a place I love to visit, even though it's a very sad site as there weren't any survivors of the plane crash. It's amazing how sad and horrible events can leave such a beautiful legacy.
I really miss my beautiful home, I can't wait to go back to visit.
