Now that I know my way around Sakaide and some of the other towns, I am starting to look for souveneirs to send to my friends and family. I know I will have plenty of time to look for things, but I am beginning to collect a few cute things here or there, like this Pikachi udon keychain.

My best friend's birthday is coming soon, so I am hoping to send her some fun and cute things as a nice surprise. She's in the Navy, so she doesn't have many chances to do fun things. She is only able to visit her home in Michigan 2 times a year, so the last time I saw her was at Christmas. I've sent her surprise packages since she first entered the Navy last year.

I like the Japanese sakura cards a lot so I think one will become a birthday card. When I went to Tokyo last year, I sent her some strange kitkats. At Sakaide station I found a citrus orange flavor, so I'm going to buy some soon. She says she actually liked the wasabi flavored one! I asked her if she was mistaken, and meant the green tea flavor. A lot of my friends liked the green tea flavor.

I hope I find some postcards to send to my friends and family too. Maybe at a local temple? I want them to be a picture of Kagawa in some way, so I haven't found any yet.
