My First Earthquake!
What an interesting week! I went to karaoke for the first time, started teaching new classes in Kan-onji, ate soba, and experienced my first earthquake in Japan! Karaoke was really fun, and I cannot wait to go again! The new classes are very fun, and my new students are super interesting. We are all going to have fun learning and getting to know each other. I have had soba in Canada, but it wasn’t as good as the soba in Japan. I don’t think I will ever eat soba in Canada again. The earthquake was so small I didn’t realize it was an earthquake until my students told me that that was what it was. I was shocked, and a little excited. We don’t get earthquakes in Central Canada. Now I know what to expect, so I can be aware of the next one. I can’t wait to see what the next week holds!
