Hobbies in a New Country
One of the best things about coming to Japan has been the ability to try new things.
When I was in college I got to try Japanese calligraphy or Shodo once. I really enjoyed it but it was difficult to find a teacher and many of the materials where expensive for a novice. Calligraphy has also been helpful for practicing kanji!
My other hobbies are cooking, baking, crafts, reading and traveling.
What types of hobbies do you have? Do you have any suggestions of things I should try?
