New Familiarity
It's been two weeks since my return to Japan. All is familiar and new at the same time. I have enjoyed these slow moving days, and I earnestly look forward to the moment I can feel fully "settled in." There is still much I have to do such as make new friends, learn Japanese, and develop a routine. Yet, I have been able to enjoy the humbling views of Kagawa that I've missed very much; from the still waters of the Setouchi Inland Sea, to the quiet yet bold architecture of Marugame Castle. This is one of the main reasons why I wanted to come back to Kagawa--it is simply a beautiful place of nature.
