Sapa, Vietnam
The most memorable experience I had in Vietnam has had to be in Sapa. Sapa is located on the most Northern Western part of Vietnam. It is inhabited with many Hmong people that invest most of their time on a farm. Though their lives are not as extravagate as say any first world country such as Japan, Canada, Europe, or the United States of America, I can confidently say that these are the most happiest people I have ever met.
It really makes you think that we are extremely blinded by our fast pace economy where technology has suddenly taken over the new generation. What I mean is, we are disrupted by cell phones, what to wear, what big car we need to drive, what big house we need to buy, and when we can't meet those expectations we put ourselves down and forget to just be happy. You truly really live once, really make the best of it.
