Happy New Year everyone. It's good to be alive. I hope everything is well with you. I know a few Japanese traditions for the New Year but today I want to talk about an American tradition. In America we always "drop the ball" in Times Square in New York. It's been going on as long as I can remember. As a child my family would often watch the ball drop on television. We were in Texas though, which is in a different time zone, so we watched a recording of the the ball dropping. Fond memories.
