Beauty is a combination of qualities that pleases the intellect or moral sense. So, what defines beauty in the everyday mind of a human being? Well, that varies from person to person, but I believe that the heart of all beauty is the emotion you express and the smile that you wear. This photograph was from an experiment called "Dove Real Beauty Sketches". In the experiment, Dove brought in a Forensic Artist to draw the faced of the women based on description alone. They did not see the woman until the experiment was complete. Another aspect of the experiment was for the woman and another person to get to know each other and then the other person describe the person. On the left, you will see the drawing of how the woman views her own beauty, the second drawing is the description given by another person and the woman standing next to the drawings is the woman. This experiment was designed to show how a person views their own beauty and how another person views your beauty. Many women in the world lack self-confidence about the way they look, I am one of those people. Throughout my life I have tried to encourage people around me that they are beautiful without thinking of myself as beautiful. And one of my flaws in thinking is when someone tells me that I am beautiful, it is really difficult for me to believe that truth. When I saw this video (posted below) I cried and gained a little more self-confidence. And this doesn't only pertain to women, it can also influence a mans mindset on how he views himself and how he views others. I would advise everyone to watch this video. You may not be able to understand all of what is said in the video, but you can see by the finished product and the emotion the outcome.
I hope you enjoy this video!
