El Greco
It's far I know, but some people do go to Tokyo from time to time. If anyone is going in the near future, I would by all means recommend seeing the El Greco exhibit at the Tokyo City Museum in Ueno Park. It's really extraordinary by any measure you like. Most of the most important works of this strange artist have been arranged in an excellent order, with even captions and explanations in English, not only clear, but very insightful, and thought provoking. A huge task, and the admission is a bit steep, 1600 yen, as I remember, but well worth the cost. In fact the exhibit itself is well worth the trip to Tokyo. Check it out.
