Turning off the subtitles

Turning off the subtitles

The cold weather is setting in, and although it's not as freezing and snowy as in Tohoku, it's not very inviting to spend much time outdoors, unless it's to go skiing or sledding. A good time to settle in at home, with a big mug of tea or hot chocolate, and read a nice novel, or watch a movie, in English of course. Just a tip though. If you keep the subtitles on you don't really force yourself to listen exactly to what they're saying. Better to see it without them, or if you really feel better see it once with them on, and after some time, watch it again without, so you really concentrate on exactly what they're saying, and not on figuring out what each word means. Try it. You'll see it really helps.
