Potato Chips

A Japanese snack food maker that specializes in products such as potato chips started a campaign a few years ago to make potato chips with local flavors from each prefecture/region of Japan. They use a popular, local flavor from each specific area, and added that taste to the potato chips.
Although Kochi Prefecture is the largest producer of yuzu in Japan, I recently was in Yamaguchi Prefecture and found some yuzu-flavored potato chips. Apparently, yuzu is also popular in Yamaguchi.
Yuzu is a Japanese fruit that tastes like a cross between a lemon and a grapefruit. It is very tasty and used in various cooking dishes and drinks in Japan. The chips were quite delicious!
