Takechi Hanpeita Statue from Tosa currently Kochi
Hello Everyone It's Sensei Bear! Here with another blog just for you!
This month has been inspiring for me due to the adventure I've been able to embark on. This month I was fortunate enough to go sightseeing to the south of the island of Shikoku in Kochi. We found ourselves going up mountains, crossing rivers, and going through roads that were interesting to be on. As we ventured above in the hills we found a statue of Takechi Hanpeita. Takechi Hanpeita was also known as Tackechi Zuizan and he was a samurai from the Bakumatsu period and formed the Tosa Imperialism Party. I've always been in love with Japanese history, legends, and myths and this is why these things interest me so much. Just take a look at the gorgeous photo below. If you are into Japanese history's Samurai you'll love to see this monument of Takechi Hanpeita from Kochi.
