Jupiter is big

The moon shines very bright in the sky this Halloween after a series of dark, cloudy nights. The October full moon is sometimes called the hunter's moon, providing light to hunt nocturnal game animals, such as deer, to preserve as food for the coming winter.
The largest planet in our solar system, Jupiter, has also been especially bright, outshining even Venus with its yellowish glow. It is visible all night. On November third, Jupiter will reach full opposition (appear to be at its furthest from the sun in the sky).
