Draconid Meteor shower
Photo taken in kanonji, October 2nd, golden hour.
This week the Draconid meteors will shower from October 6-10 from dusk to 3 AM, peaking on the 9th. As with previously discussed meteor showers, it is named after the constellation, draco the dragon, from which the stars appear to fall. Many of the planets will also be visible on this night, namely Mars, Jupiter, Mercury, Venus, and Saturn. You can conveniently check the rise and set of each planet of the source website.
We'll also be looking forward to the Orionid shower, a rare event caused my the passing of the famous Halley's comet.
